Addison

Addison is so funny. She has become such a Mama's girl that even her grandma can't hold her without her looking for me. I love it, but it does become tiring. As you can tell, she has found new toys...her feet! She is also working on a few more rolls on her legs! She takes after her mom for sure! :) Addison is very content during the day. She still doesn't care too much about rolling over. She can do it from her tummy to back but doesn't show us this too often. She did roll over for the first time on Jadyn's bed. Jadyn thought that was the coolest thing ever. Addison loves watching the older kids. I love to see that little smile peek out behind the pacifier when she is watching them.
Yesterday, I braved shopping with all three kids by myself at Target. They were so well behaved that I even treated them to Burger King...and they got to play even though Jadyn was a full head too tall for the play area. She was very concerned that the workers might kick us out. I complimented them left and right about their fabulous behavior, and wouldn't you know it...the minute we get home, the fighting began. It lasted the rest of the day. At least they were fabulous during the time that I was most dreading, shopping.
Roger left yesterday for Louisville. He'll be there until Thursday. Already, the kids have asked when Daddy is coming home. Like I am not enough for them! :) They love their Daddy so much.
This week I am going to have the kids choose 10 of their toys, that they no longer play with, to give to Goodwill. We have been doing this for the past several years. It's a good way to clean out old toys to make room for the new. I have been trying to clean out my clutter as well. I filled up the back of my vehicle last week and took a load to the Dropoff place for Goodwill. It feels so good to have a little more room. Well, I must be getting busy with my day! Have a good one!

poor Kim you are all by yourself. It's hard work being a single mom. A great big pat on the back for taking the kids all shopping. That is a LOT of work, and glad it went so well. I love the comment that is on the side dashboard of your blog.... under the picture of the kids "Oh if they were always this sweet... " I love it!!

Target??? Are you crazy? No, you're just like your Aunt Cindy and "have to get out of the house before I lose I mind!" Right? :)

But really, today I thought that I hadn't taken my kids shopping for a long time and was feeling bad. You will make memories for your kids each moment you spend with them. Whether it's baking cookies, the BK, or reading. Good job Kim!
