So here I am again writing from our room in the lodge. It was really icy yesterday and rainy. And last night while we were sleeping, a front moved in with snow and high winds. So we are not leaving today as planned because the road between here (Wawa) and Sault St. Marie is closed. And Mom and I are not going out on the trails because the wind gusts can be as low as 40 below wind chill. YIKES! I would rather stay in and drink my hot chocolate and update my blog. Lucky for you...
I am ready to get back to the states though. These people in Wawa don't know about seasonings. I feel like I need a salt lick right at the table. Plus the options are pretty limited considering how small the town is. They do have the beautiful scenery going for them, but I am not sure what else.
I heard the kids don't have school today. If they got a lot of snow I am sure Ethan is going to want to go sledding on our hill. Although, I don't know if they cancelled school for the snow or the cold weather. Regardless, I hope it's not too long of a day for Brooke and both the rugrats stuck inside.
Yesterday, no one went out on the trails because it was raining. So the four of us went to town and actually found a few small shops to go into. I got each of the kids a little gift. I even found a great snowsuit for Addison. It's 24 months, so I don't know if it will work yet next year or the year after. It was only $20 and it's so cute. But it looks huge! I guess it's inevitable, she is going to grow. (Picture me with a sad face) Roger thoroughly enjoyed the experience, NOT! He hates shopping. I was glad to have Mom and Dad with us. The grumbling was kept to a minimum.
Well, I am off to have another day of hanging out in the room. Have a great one!

Boy you're good-sounds like we're having fun! Ask Kim how she likes the canadian marble games-I think you need to lose your marbles b-4 you play those games! Stay warm!
In case you don't already know-Roger is out-of-control!! I think Kim should have an extra jewel in her crown for putting up w/him! ha ~ He's a great guy!
Cute picture of Baby cakes. I like your makeover on your blog...way to go. Cold there - cold here. Why didn't you go somewhere warm again? Glad you are having quality time with your mama though....I am envious of that. You 2 have such a neat friendship.
