Thursday (yesterday) was another exciting day of swimming. Addison and I stayed back at the room until later in the afternoon because of her napping time. I got to sit out on the deck and read, it was really nice and quiet. The kids continued their swimming. We decided to grill hot dogs at the condo for lunch. Roger even made baked beans, in the can! Crazy guy. Then we went back to the pool and I stayed there with the kids until around 4:00. Roger came back early with Addison for yet another nap.
We all got ready and headed to the mountains to go up the Tram. This tram has two stations, the Valley Station (2,000 feet above sea level), and the Mountain Station (over 8,000 feet above sea level). http://www.pstramway.com/index.htm Check out this website, it was really cool. It was a little scary going up and down the mountain at night, because you couldn't see a lot except how small the city lights were getting. Inside the tram, the floor rotates around so you can get a view 360 degrees. When we got to the top, we ate dinner at one of two restaurants. They had several lookout decks that we went out on, and of course the kids thought it was cool that there was snow there. Roger and Ethan could swear that they saw a mountain lion while observing on the deck! We left the Mountain Station about 8:00 and headed home. All three kids fell asleep on the way home. We have really done so much this week that I think it has finally caught up to them.
We fly out today around noon in California and get to Chicago around 4:00 I think. Then we drive home! No time for pictures this morning, I gotta finish packing!
