Piano Recital

Yesterday, Jadyn had her first piano recital. Her teacher, Becky Woodhull put on quite a production. Becky put so much time and effort into this and it was so beautiful. It started out with each of the students (around 20) came in with their graduate caps on. Then Becky spoke for a little introduction. After that, each student played their piece beginning with those who just finished their first year of lessons. It was so amazing to see how much they improve just in one year! Jadyn played "Can you feel the love tonight?" in the Lion King movie. She played it so tenderly and sweet, it was just beautiful! The students ranged in ages from 6 to teenagers. One of the boys, actually composed his own song! It was amazing! Then they graduated and got diplomas from Becky and she shared a little special moment about each of her students as they were accepting their diploma. She absolutely loves her "kids." At the end of the graduation, Becky's husband made a movie with pictures and video clips of her kids at their lessons. WOW is all I can say! What a blessing to have a piano teacher that loves her kids and they love her right back! Here are a few pictures, they didn't turn out great but you get the idea...
