Catch of the Day

If you have been reading this blog regularly, you may remember me mentioning that Ethan has a few fears about being left behind or not knowing where I am every single minute of the waking hours. Well, the other day, I forced him to go outside by himself while I was working inside. One of their favorite things to do is fish with nets off of the dock, so that's what he did........BY HIMSELF.........FOR OVER AN HOUR! Not only did he go by himself, which was huge, but he stayed at it so long and finally caught what he was wanting to catch...a huge CATFISH! Thankfully, I was out there at the end of his time to catch it on the camera! He was so proud. He showed off his sweet little smile that I just adore. The first one he caught was so huge that the fish almost didn't fit in this little "oh so strong" net. When I took the picture, the fish popped out! That poor thing was flopping his way back to the land of muck and weeds and luckily made it, a few pictures later.

Then, can you believe it, he caught another one! Not quite as big, but big none the less!

And what you ask was Addison doing all this time? Oh she found Grandpa's rocks and decided they were a nice place to sit.

And by the way, they taste good too!
