Over the last week while Mom and Dad have been gone, we have had to be creative with our time and also stick to the house rules.
Jadyn and Ethan aren't technically eating in the living room, but thank goodness they can still watch the Disney channel!
We have also gone to the pool and stayed cool in the water. We also really enjoyed watching the cat jump on the umbrella and then try to get down without help! He ended up sliding down head first and landing in one of our bags! Thank goodness he didn't have to waste a life on that crazy predicament he got himself into!
I also baked a chocolate sheet cake last weekend for our MYF Sponsor Retreat...YUM!
I have really missed the extra set of hands with Mom and Dad gone! We have been really lucky to have been able to move in here for a short time.
So here is my question to you:
What do you do when you are bored?
The first person to respond will get the recipe for Texas Sheet Cake on a nice recipe card!

Hmmm...normally I induldge in some good gossip magazine or update my blog. At the age my munchkins are at I rarely have a "bored" moment! Love the picture of the kids watching the TV...too funny!!

hahah love the pictures of the kids. I had so much fun emptying all those jars with you last night. When I'm bored... I drive my husband crazy :)
I too get online and work on my blog, check e-mail and get on Facebook!!! It is so nice to feel connected to friends I just don't get to see often enough!
Oh that Texas Sheet Cake looks just like the one my grandma used to make YUM! Also that picture of Addison by the pool sippin her kiddie cocktail is tooooo cute!

Sorry ... never bored! Boredom is just a state of mind. :) Now I'll leave my philosophical comments behind and (did I spell that right?)
I want to know??? When you cleaned your mom's cupboards was it any comparison to when she and I and Julie cleaned Gma's??? Like dates from the 1800's??? Sarah took a video of our process, did you get one of yours? I bet she'll never leave you home alone again!
When I am bored I sleep. These last few weeks have left no time for boredom.

Bored?!? A thing of the past,(before kids)!! When I do have some "me" time I love to read or try to catch up on my scrapbooking. Love the pics of your kids. Way too cute!
