We had a fantastic family that were our speakers for the weekend. They spoke on what our playlist is. Not just iTunes, but life in general. I think they gave the youth a lot to think about.
In between sessions, there was plenty of free time for outdoor activities. So, many of our youth went tubing! They had so much fun! Even I made it down a few times. Here are a few pics...

And then we have a first timer, who forgot to hang on to the tube. This hill was very steep and I caught this shot right when he blasted off of the snow ramp. Needless to say, he didn't land very softly, but he ended up ok.

And then back to our girls, who had so much fun!
Philippians 4:8.
"Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praise-worthy – think about such things."
Not an easy task, but something to work towards.
Now I don't know about you, but there are times when it seems like you are presented with things multiple times. And when that happens, I tend to think that I need to pay special attention to that.
For example, a few years ago, I was invited to join a women's bible study by three women. None of them knew that the other had asked me, but by the third time, I realized that maybe this is what God was leading me to do.
So I get home yesterday from our retreat, and I was checking my e-mail. I have signed up to receive a daily scripture and a daily devotional through e-mail. And wouldn't you know it, my scripture that I recieved Sunday was the exact same verse! So I feel like I need to pay attention to this and think and pray about why that verse was brought to me.
Have you ever had an experience like that?

Kim isn't it neat how the Word can cut through and speak like nothing else?! Looks like you guys had lots of fun! And those kids will remember you always!
That looks like a complete blast Kim. I remember going down that trail when I was a kid at snow camp. :)

Looks like fuuuuunnnnn times!!! I'm glad you were able to do that...such good experiences for those kiddies to have good adult role models (can you believe we are old enough to be adult role models now...agh!!!!!)
