Last year for Spring Break, we went to Palm Springs, CA to stay at my parent's condo. We vowed to go back, we absolutely L-O-V-E-D it! Our condo was reserved for us last summer.
Last fall, we realized that it's very possible that we would be moving during Spring Break, so our trip was cancelled and my parents and sister/husband/son are going in our place. :(
Two weeks ago, my good friend that I used to teach with, and our girls are best friends, told me that they had an extra room in their condo in Florida and would I like to go with the kids? I really thought about it, wanted to go, but I couldn't find any great tickets, and frankly didn't want to spend the extra cash.
Yesterday, Roger came home from work and says, "You really need to go to Florida. You need to get away from the new house and this house. Go look for tickets." I quick called my friend to see if the offer still stood. It....still....stood!
Last night, after Jadyn's Spring Program at school, I bought tickets. Direct to our destination, Sunday night, all by myself, three kids. YIKES!
But we cannot wait, we are so thrilled! Talk about last minute. I have so much to do, in so little time. But I think that it will definitely be worth it!

Have so much fun! We will be in Fla too, Orlando and Sarasota. I hope the weather is nice, but just getting away will be great...I'm sure you agree!
Hi Kim! I'm Jon Kauffman's little sister and I have to say that I LOVE the song Beautiful one that you have on your blog!! We have a 6 week old little girl and we haven't been able to go to church since she's been born (she was 5 weeks early) and this song brought tears to my eyes...I love singing it at church and it made me realize how much I miss church! Good thing we are able to go this week...the songs are calling my name :) P.S. Have a blast in Florida!!
