I love this time of year...

Thank you all for listening to my issues the other day. It was definitely a rough one. Jadyn's anxiety has been hanging on for about 4 years, off and on. This fall we needed more help. I can't pinpoint an exact reason why she worries, but she does. There are times that I can predict when she will worry, but other times there is just no rhyme or reason. We do have a long battle ahead of us, but we have gotten outside help, and I am praying hard that Jadyn is getting what she needs.

So beyond those troubles, Christmas has arrived at the Huffman home. I bought a new Christmas tree this year, and spent all day last Saturday making it "just so." And now I love it! And see this ornament? That is where I want to be, sometime soon, or a beach somewhere. I really don't care where. Somewhere warm.

Recently, I heard this song on the radio, and just felt the words were just so right. Very reminiscent of my last few years. I hope it speaks to you too! Click on the link to listen to it. Make sure to turn off the Christmas music first!

My Will - DC Talk

http://popup.lala.com/popup/576742274766757987

I'm setting the stage for the things I love
And I'm now the man I once couldn't be
Nothing on earth could now ever move me
I now have the will and the strength a man needs

(chorus)It's my will, and I'm not moving
Cause if it's Your will, then nothing can shake me
It's my will, to bow and praise You
I now have the will to praise my God

Complexity haunts me for I am two men
Entrenched in a battle that I'll never win
My discipline fails me, my knowledge it fools me
But You are my shelter, all the strength that I need

(chorus)

I'm learning to give up the rights to myself
The bits and the pieces I've gathered as wealth
Could never compare to the joy that You bring me
The peace that You show me is the strength that I need

(chorus)

We've got to be children of peace
Don't you know we've got to be children of peace
It's Your will, It's Your will
