Best of Both Worlds

So for all of you that do not have teenagers or younger, my title refers to a HANNAH MONTANA song! And yes, we rocked out to her yesterday in INDY with about 50,000 other young girls and their moms. There was an occasional man but the fortunate ones were left at home! What a great time! Jadyn knew every single word to every single song. Shockingly, I knew quite a few myself. She stood the entire time, until sit-down-momma behind us asked her to sit down. I promptly told Jadyn to stand back up and she did shortly thereafter.
We went to the concert with my friend Karena and her daughter Brielle. Jadyn and Brielle were so funny. Karena started writing down all of their funny little sayings after a while. For example, Jadyn was doing something in the car that was getting on my nerves and I told her that. She replies,"You are tap dancing on my last good nerve!" Karena and I busted out laughing. Then on the way home, Jadyn and Brielle were sticking their feet up in the air and Brielle says, "How do I win?" We didn't understand it either, but again it struck our funny bone!
After the concert, we walked to Hard Rock Cafe to eat downtown. I think Karena and I were yelling at each other across the table because we were very hard of hearing at that point. Then we found out that school was delayed, so we walked a few more blocks to Monument Circle. The girls absolutely loved the toy soldiers and the monument decorated like a humongous Christmas tree! We walked up the steps and looked up. It seemed like we were laying under a tree looking up at all of the beautiful lights! What a fantastic time!
My lucky husband stayed home with the other two chillins. Of course, he had some help. My mom and dad came over for a few hours in the PM. She even fixed him a ham loaf for dinner. Then Amber and Matt came over to watch the Colts play. They brought a pizza for dinner.
I just want to go on the record by saying, "WHERE IS MY DINNER WHEN ROGER IS GONE FOR MORE THAN ONE DAY?" Hello people. It's called equal treatment! What a lucky guy! Love ya honey!
Pictures will have to come later. I designated Karena, the official photographer of Hannah 2007!

sounds like a blast Kim! I love the part where you yell about supper when you are home by yourself. We've had so many meals brought in this week and while I'm thankful for all the wonderful meals...I think DOnovan should have had to cook more while I was out recovering from surgery. I just doesn't seem fair that he has had so much help. :) And now for today my first day by myself after surgery......Freak out city over here. I'd rather take my drugs and go back to bed.

Can't wait to see pictures.......
