Oh the weather outside is frightful...but inside it's so delightful!

Christmas at Grandma Bertha's is always fun and exciting. Something funny always happens. This year it's Jay in his antlers. What are you gonna do?

Of course we had tons of food and lots of good conversation. Some of the family are leaving for a 2 week trip to Australia next week! They are going to have a great time.

Our day started out at the Essenhaus for brunch at 10:00. Then we made our way over to Grandma's for presents, food, and good times. The grandkids had a white elephant gift exchange to start out the gift giving. Ethan ended up with a box of random mugs. He had the chance to switch but decided to use the mugs for target practice. Then Jadyn switched with someone for some cute flipflops and random other things. Addison got a cute outfit with Minnie Mouse on it. Grandma is always very generous, so everyone got a gift. Before we knew it, more food was set out and we proceeded to stuff ourselves! Were we hungry? No...but it was there! It cannot go to waste! The men proceeded to go outside and shoot clay pigeons. Mitchell forgot the clay part and shot a real bird as he wandered into the danger zone. :( Poor little thing never had a chance! Ethan finally got to get his mugs out to shoot at with his little BB gun. He was in seventh heaven...All the big boys were out there and he was shooting mugs. What more can you ask for?

Here are some highlights from our day...

We have the big boys playing with the little girl toys....

Jadyn and Ethan did very well today. Ethan received an awesome Cars remote control car. You use a glove on your hand to control the direction of the car. Jadyn received a Littlest Pet Shop House. Lots of little pieces! Can't wait!

OK I thought I already posted on here, but I don't see it. I think I'm losing my mind! First my Mother "texts" me on her cell phone, and then I'm losing posts! Kim, you do such a great job on your posts! Love it!
