- Our computer is on the brink of either dying or me killing it! So I am typing away on Roger's laptop, trying to get in a quick blog before his battery dies.
Here are a few updates...
*Jadyn is currently on her way home from Florida with her friend Cassie, and her G-ma and G-pa. She has had a great time, only getting homesick last night. They swam in the ocean and pool every day, and they even saw dolphins from one of the condos!
*Addison, Ethan, and I traveled to Florida for a week. We stayed at Mom and Dad's condo on Siesta Beach! We had so much fun and the kids traveled so well. Ethan was craving his Dad's attention, though. So he is glad to be home.
*Addison developed several canker (?) sores on her tongue and lip while we were in Sarasota. So she has been a barrel of laughs. She can't eat anything except her formula. Then to top it all off, this evening she was walking towards me to get more cheerios and she tripped and fell into my knee. When I saw blood, I began to worry! Here she tore that little thingy that connects her lip to her gum! Poor little thing! I just wanted to scream right along with her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*Roger has been working his cute little butt off this past week! We had a new kitchen put in, and of course with every remodel, comes its own set of challenges. He had to basically tear up our kitchen flooring to put under the new cabinets, then there wasn't enough so he had to tear up my bathroom flooring to use to finish the kitchen flooring. Oh and did I mention that the flooring is no longer being made, so we had to go buy new flooring at Lowe's last night for my bathroom. Then he started installing that last night and finished it this morning! What a guy! Today, we had a huge list....Roger and Dad put in my new kitchen sink, faucet, and garbage disposal. That took a really long time, so my kitchen is still not put together.
OK SO THE COMPUTER BATTERY DIED BEFORE I COULD FINISH EVERYTHING UP LAST NIGHT...
SUNDAY
*Ethan lost his first tooth today! He is ready to hear the fluttering of tooth fairy wings! Actually he is more excited about money...:)
*Addison is doing better today. Her mouth is finally getting better. She is walking so good now. This past week she has learned to clap her hands, and hold her hands above her head when we say, "So big." You can just tell that she knows exactly what you are saying to her. She is getting into absolutely everything!
*Jadyn got home from Florida around 4:00 t0day. She had a great time with the Huys family. She said her favorite part was the pizza party by the pool with their whole family! She did a great job traveling. They drove to and from.
*Roger and I are ready to be done with the house! He installed my new microwave today and finished up my bathroom and the trim. Just a few more small things to do, then he's done! I still have to finish unpacking the boxes of kitchen stuff. I can't believe all the things we have for the kitchen! It is crazy... You really need to see the new cabinets, though. They look fabulous!!!!!!!

Way to go Kim ~ Your post came through!!!!! I'm so glad Addison is feeling better! She sounded so hoarse last night ~ I felt so bad for her! I like the wordage 'little thingy' (don't cha know what that is?) I know the Dutch word for it, but not the English word! Does that help?
So what is the Dutch word?
O.K. I do need to see your new cabinets....why don't you post a picture??? Or shall I come for lunch tomorrow?? :)

You are such a busy family! Hehe. Glad to hear all is going well and your baby girl is feeling better. Sick babies are so sad. Hope you're loving your new kitchen! We're waiting for our counter top and new recessed lights and then our kitchen will be done! Fun, fun! Take care!
