Life with a teenager in the house. Things are going well. It is kind of weird all of a sudden talking about curfews and what one may encounter. But Nathan is making friends and having a good time. My kids have adjusted well, and missed him while he was gone Friday and Saturday. Tonight he went for a run and I rode my bike. Talk about feeling out of shape. He pushes me though, which is good. Not on the bike. :) Just mentally.
And by the way, I am finally an aunt on my side of the family. If you don't read Amber or my mom's blog, Katy had her baby on Tuesday. Tristan Edward weighed in at 9 lb. 5 oz. He was a big boy and hurt his mama. :( But they are doing well and he is a cutie!

Father's Day was great today. We went to church and then to my mom and dad's for lunch.....SO GOOD! Then we played outside all afternoon until the rain came. We watched a movie then headed for home, so as not to mess up Nathan's plans of working out with his friend Mitch.
A crazy life.......

So yeah, I was gonna call you and say "welcome to my world"! When Mitch finally left at 10ish to pick up Nathan for the evening, I thought "evening? it's bedtime!" So anyway, teenagers are a blast if you can just place them safely in God's arms! Not so easy, but nice! I too lectured Mitch about the responsibility of new friendships! :) Just so you know!
Glad I'm not in your world just yet.....Cindy and Kim. Maybe you 2 should get together and write a book so I'll know what to do in about 5 years when my oldest starts the teen years. :)
