Jadyn just returned last night from a fun week at Camp Amigo. We took her and her friend up on Sunday and picked them up Thursday. What memories that place brings. I went to camp there for several summers when I was young and usually had a good time. I remember a time when I went with a friend, not you Cori, and we were getting too cool for camp. Not as much fun that year.

Jadyn, on the other hand, has been counting down the days to go since last summer. She is just like that. She was so exhausted and exhilarated at the same time. Her cabin was called Mayapple and she had two counselors and about 8 bunkmates.
Some of her highlights...
* One polar bear swim after doing the hokey pokey
* Playing find the counselors
* Only taking one shower all week (GROSS)
* Going on a pontoon ride and pushing two of the camp directors into the lake
* Learning so many new songs
* Meeting new friends
* Her counselors, Cara & Johna
* Popcorn hollow
* And being so close to the bathroom

I coached Jonna in volleyball at bethany. Too cool! And yes, I loved camp amigo, both as a camper and as a staff - counselor, kitchen for one week, and lifeguard! It's a wonderful place for kids!!!
Wow Kim! I am going way back to 5th grade on this one! Camp Amigo was so fun!
