An update...

I wanted to update everyone on the last few weeks, since I haven't posted many pics lately.

Over the Fourth of July we were invited to go to Dave & Cindy's lake cabin for food and fireworks. Addison got a fun tire swing ride with Cindy, and Jadyn doesn't think the lake is too gross anymore. Her and Abby swam and had fun in the water. Ethan was with Grandma & Grandpa in Petoskey for a week and had a great time with them.
DeAnna (Roger's sister), Steve, Luke & Olivia came up for a night and a day to get some furniture they bought for Olivia's room. The kids really enjoyed seeing each other again and played pretty hard during the time they spent together.
Uncle Steve and the boys going on an adventure in the woods. Then we finally moved and needed some time in the pool. After a refreshing dip, we walked over to my Grandma's and the kids played in the fountain and flowers for a bit.
Saturday, the 12th was Ethan's birthday. We decided to go to the Farmer's Market for lunch and then go to Target to pick out some birthday presents that he wanted to buy with his birthday money. At the market, they had goats to pet, horses to ride, and a fun bungee thing.

Addison has become pretty attached to Grandpa while living at their house. She knows that he will always pick her up. :)

My boy is 6!

Yesterday, after Ethan's party with family, I took Jadyn and her friend, Emily to Camp Amigo for the week. She was so excited to go, and has been looking forward to it all summer.

Today Mom and I took these two stinkers to Potowotami Zoo.

Addison, before meltdown.

Ethan, not smiling for the camera.

While taking a water and ice cream sandwich break for the kids, a peacock wandered over by the picnic tables. Of course Mom had to pick on my boy and say that peacocks liked chocolate! Ethan was done after that!

So what do you do with your kids on a beautiful day like we had today?

i always enjoy pre-meltdown Addison :) wow - about time you update... what's your problem? Mom's internet is SOOOOOO fast! Glad to see you're doing well... me & my kids, well, Peyton's new game is "kick mom's belly as much as possible during the night and at the office and then use her bladder for a pillow". it's so much fun.

Wow you have been busy! Glad the move went well, hopefully the whole building process goes smooth also. We have been to South Haven, and are taking the kiddos to Indy to the Zoo and the Childrens Museum in Aug. other than that we just play outside and go swimming ect on these nice warm days we are having. Happy Bday Ethan......I was wondering how far apart our Ethans are. Looks like about 7mo. My Ethan won't be 6 til Feb. Is he starting Kindergarten this fall or did he go last year? Talk to you.

Hi Kim! We have been visiting area pools! Tommorrow, just Olivia and I are going to a new one for us. We don't get to swim togther, just the two of us, very often, so it should be fun!

Looks like your family is really enjoying summer! Keep us posted on the house building, when do you hope to be in?

OK, so instead of a tire around the middle, I got one around my rear! Thanks for posting that lovely picture ... I think!

Happy Belated Birthday Ethan!

Today we went to the park in Ekhart where you had told me there was ice skating over the winter. In the summer there is a "mini water park" where water squirts up out of the ground. The kids loved and it was free.
