What could you not do without?

As I have shared before, we are living in a log cabin on a lake while our house is being built. Thank you Cindy and Dave for the house! It really is a blessing!

BUT......................

And Cindy knows this............

There is no dishwasher!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, that sounds incredibly spoiled of me, I know. I mean Roger's mom has lived without one for pretty much ever! She is still surviving!

I will survive as well. I have just never not had a dishwasher, and I really took it for granted!

Every day I wash dishes in the sink, is just one day closer to when I get my brand new dishwasher. That is what I have to keep reminding myself. I love our current residence, but not so much the lack of a dishwasher.

Here is a picture of our dishwasher...

That's me in about a 1962 yearbook! Sidenote, you should try it out at http://www.yearbookyourself.com/. It is hilarious!

So here is my question...

What appliance could you not do without?

Hi. I'm Kelli and I read your blog from time to time. Your kids are cute!
I could not live without my toaster oven. I don't how I ever lived without it. Pizza heated in the microwave is just not the same as it is heated in the toaster oven. Yum!

Dishwasher, Washer, Hairdryer, Flat Iron, and Microwave.

Just to name a few.

I feel your pain, While we were building we (as you know) did not have a dishwasher in our appartment either. It just makes you appreciate your dishwasher all the more. BTW....What about your daughter, She could wash! :)

USE PAPER PLATES!

I couldn't live without my dishwasher! Sorry Kim. :) How about if you loaded all the dirty stuff up every other day or so, and hauled it to your mom's?
