Last night, as Ethan was sitting beside me on the couch, I decided he needed a shower before bed. When he got out, we decided to take control of his ear wax problem. I don't know if you have ever heard of this, but there is a fabulous product for ear wax removal called ear candles. This is no joke! You stick a hollow candle in the ear that needs attention and the smoke literally pulls out the wax and it is caught in the hollow part of the candle. So anyway, we did this for Ethan and we couldn't even imagine how the child could hear. Gross I know.
Quote of the day...
Kim: "So Ethan could you hear better at school today without all that wax in your ears?"
Ethan: "Yeah."
Pause
Pause
Ethan: "Wait. What'd you say?"
This is my son! :)

HUH???? Cute Ethan!
I gotta find some of those ear candles...we got a couple of guys over here that have wax problems. Where do you get them?
Love Ethan's quote. :)
I ordered them online, but I am desperately looking around for someplace local. I will let you know.
Hey... you DID change your settings. Thanks, Kim!! We've used the candles, too, and I've found them at Maple City Market in Goshen, or at most health food stores. In fact, I think we've picked them up at the health food store in Middlebury!
